29th October "Shaken not Stirred" Bond Tribute Evening
There was a lot of work done leading up to this concert but on the night everything went exceedingly well and the band seemed to be enjoying themselves. It was great to spend a whole evening playing the great James Bond themes. The free food and drink for the band hightened the mood backstage. Great effort thanks everyone.

"Another Fine Mess" - Legends of the 20th Century
Well done for another sucessful concert!
This was a very enjoyable concert with only a few minor points to improve on. The children seemed to like the bottle and pan solo and couldn't get enough of them when we were trying to pack away. Congratulations go to Fiona for her solo in Laurel & Hardy, Dave for his solo in Georgia on my mind and Joe for the part in "The bold Gendarmes" and Jon for the excellent drumming.

Haslam Park Centenary Celebrations
The afternoon of Haslam park's centenary celebrations were well underway by the time the band arrived to setup. Most had arrived earlier to listen to the "Preston Flute Choir" and their mixture of rare and unusual flutes.
4th of July (American Indipendance Day) - Clitheroe Castle
The weather threatened and poured down upon us, yet the spectators were adament they were going to hold their own. Yes they did, good fun afternoon performing American classics and some sunshine at the end.
25th June - 60's Tribute at Preston Minster
This was a big concert of the year. Everyone that took part really enjoyed themselves dressing up and getting the audience into a frenzy. It was slightly weird at the start with strange new music but one the shakers started, light sticks were waving and everyone had so much fun that we have been asked to repeat this event again.
5th April - Easter Egg Rolling - Avenham Park
The weather was nervous and we kept looking to the skys but we had no fear because the sun came out at the last minute and warmed the band throughout. This was a good performance to start the year off and test the bands resolve to play as crowds walk very close sometimes bumping into you!
We took this chance of good weather to take this lovely picture in the oriental gardens which were in the process of being developed.
